Layne Riggs becomes youngest NASCAR Progress Auto Sections Weekly Sequence Countrywide Winner

“If you had asked me eight, nine months in the past what I was likely to do, it wasn’t likely to be going after a national championship,” stated Layne. “I’m just very pleased of my crew and almost everything we have finished to be able to get this gain. We’ve worked tough. We actually, definitely desired it.”

Scott included, “We just understood that going for a thing like a championship with NASCAR would be one thing that would mean so significantly for Layne’s future.”

In in between race weekends, Riggs is a third-year college student at the College of North Carolina at Charlotte, researching mechanical engineering.
